Why is it so warm in the winter and cool
in the summer?
The Little Bitterroot Valley is protected on
two sides by the Cabinet Mountains on the west and America's largest
western lake (Flathead Lake) on the east under the Mission Mountains. This
protection offers cooler summers and warmer winters than most of
Montana and the west.
Why is it so far from a big city?
Keeping the busy rush of commercialism
away from your front doorstep is in keeping with the traditions
of the Little Bitterroot Valley and Hot Springs, Montana. Actually,

you will have your fill of Wal-Mart, Costco, mall shopping, University
of Montana, and all those things that are everywhere, like fast
food restaurants.
How is the hunting, fishing, and out-of-doors
life?
There are 2 million acres of Wilderness area
